  • With the game tied at 9-9, RC used seven unanswered points, moving in front 16-9 on another Edosomwan hoop with nine minutes left to go in the half.
  • R-MC responded with seven straight points its own, tying the game at 16-16 on a pair of Buzz Anthony free-throws at the 6:56 mark.
  • Tripp Greene made a three-pointer to make it 20-19 R-MC with just over five minutes on the clock.
  • The Yellow Jackets closed the half by scoring nine of the final 13 points to take a 29-23 lead into the intermission.

  • The Maroons fought back with a 12-5 run, taking a 49-42 lead on a Greene trifecta with 8:50 left in the game.

  • Ethan Rohan extended the Maroons lead to three the next time down the court to make it 59-56.
  • Anthony would make it a one-point game 59-58 on R-MC next possession. Roanoke got the rebound but was not able to stretch out its lead on the offensive end.
  • Anthony had a chance to give R-MC the lead but his shot fell short and went out of bounds giving the ball back to the Maroons with 32 seconds remaining.
  • Randolph-Macon pressed on the ensuing inbound. As Roanoke crossed half-court it appeared the RC bench called for a timeout, however it was not granted and R-MC forced a turnover that led to a break-away basket by Korey Turner that gave R-MC a 60-59 advantage.
  • Following a timeout, Roanoke had one last chance for the win but the shot fell off the rim, giving R-MC the win.
