The Lead: The Roanoke College men's basketball team took the court after 10 days since they traveled to Guilford as they hosted Bridgewater College on the final day of the regular season. The Maroons jumped on the Eagles early and never looked back running their Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) mark to a 7-0.

How it Happened:

  • Kasey Draper would score five of the first seven points as Roanoke raced out to the early lead.
  • Draper would add five more as the Roanoke lead grew to 12-4, less than seven minutes into the game.
  • A Tripp Greene triple pushed the advantage into double digits at the mid-way point of the first half.
  • With 3:40 left until the break, Draper hit a pair of free throws to push the lead to 20. As the clock ticked down, Justin Kuthan hit a jump shot to make it a 46-19 lead at the half.
  • With eight minutes to play, Efosa Edosomwan scored two free throws to give the Maroons their largest lead of the afternoon, 75-28.
  • Jim Coulter made a layup and converted the free throw for the three-point play as Roanoke would take their regular season finale, 84-41.
  • Draper had 18 points and seven rebounds with Kuthan adding 12. Ethan Rohan recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
  • The Eagles got 10 apiece from Andy Pack and David Oliveras.

Up next: Now the Maroons will have to wait until the conference releases the bracket for the 2021 ODAC Men's Basketball Tournament that is set to begin on March 4.
