Forest, Va. – Roanoke College softball standouts Katie Smith, Erin Forbes and Ruthie Williams were all named to the 2016 Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Conference Team on Tuesday.
Smith was named second-team all-league in the outfield, while Forbes (SS) and Williams were each named to the third-team.
Smith played in 40 games and hit .368 which ranked 19th best in the ODAC, while her .431 average against league opponents was eighth highest. She also had 29 RBI and recorded 43 hits on the season. She had finished with a .460 on-base percentage for the season, including a .540 clip against ODAC foes.
Forbes hit .328 against ODAC opponents including 19 hits in league play to go along with nine RBI.
Williams played in 35 games and hit .375 for the year. In the circle, she logged 52.2 innings and earned a 7-3 mark with a 3.32 ERA.
