Salem, Va. – Roanoke College Softball Coach Mike Mitchell has announced dates for the Roanoke Softball Winter Tune-Up and Skills Combine for January 20-21, 2018.

The camp is for players at all levels and is designed to give players and coaches an opportunity to learn the proper techniques of batting, field, pitching and catching to help them gain a competitive edge in today's fastpitch programs.

Participants will receive instruction from Roanoke Softball Head Coach Mike Mitchell, assistant coaches David Mays, Chris Lauria and Brian Hawkins as well as current and former players.

Saturday, January 20

Session l - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Hitting and Defense
Session ll - 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Pitching and Catching
Session lll - 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Hitting and Defense

Sunday, January 21

Session lV - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Skills Combine 

 * Skills combine is designed for players interested in playing college softball. We will be recording running speeds, throwing velocities from defensive positions, pitching velocities, catcher's pop times, and bat velocities*
