Records: Maroons 27-10, Quakers 23-19

Location: Lynchburg Va.

The Lead: The Maroons advance to the ODAC Championship after defeating the Quakers in game three of the tournament. The Maroons held their lead until the top of the fourth when the quakers rallied to tie the game. The tied game was short lived when the Maroons scored the go ahead run in the bottom of the fourth to secure the win.

Highlights:

• After a scoreless first inning the Maroons took the lead with bases loaded in the bottom of the second Jordyn DiFava hit a fly ball into center field that allowed a runner to score.
• Morgan Clark led off the bottom of the third with a triple down the left field line and was followed by a single by Adriana Rivera that brought Clark in.
• The Quakers gained some momentum in the top of the fourth after a homerun that tied the game. The Maroons were able to take the lead again in the bottom of the fourth with a pinch hit single up the middle by Molly Epperson that scored a run.
• Lilly Burns and Rivera went 2 for 3.

Up next: Roanoke will host the ODAC Championship against Randolph Macon. The Championship series will be a best of three game series starting Thursday May 11^th.
