In singles, Caroline Hunter earned one point for Roanoke with a victory in the number-four match 4-6, 6-1, (10-3). The number-five and six matches also boosted the Maroons with wins fromHaley Parker (6-1, 6-2) and Lucy Webb (6-3, 6-2) respectively.

Roanoke won two of three matches to give the Maroons two points. In the number-two match, JuliaHausmannand RuthCondro won 8-2. ChristaAiken and BrittanyMatherlyalso pulled through in the tight match in the number-three seed with a victory of 9-7.

The Maroons will be travel to Lynchburg, Va for the ODAC Individual Tournament on October 11, at 9:00am.
