Women's Tennis Falls 8-1 to Hollins
SALEM, Va.- Women's tennis, now 3-2 in the ODAC experienced an 8-1 loss against Hollins University who currently ranks 5-0 in conference play. The Maroons now stand 5-3 on the season, while Hollins improves to 10-2.

In singles competition, Laura Dodson (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring) (#1 singles) lost to Karen Montoya, 6-1, 3-6, 3-6. Kelsey White (Providence, RI, Wheeler) (#3 singles) was defeated by opponent Priscilla Montoya, 2-6, 3-6, along with Roanoke's Caroline Hunter (Salem, VA, Salem)(#4 singles) who fell to Hollins Shante Woodson, with a 2-6,1-6 final. Casey Wojtera (Radford, VA, Radford) (#5) also failed to come up with a win against Anne Allstock, with a final match score of 2-6, 1-6. Lauren Marszal (Meriden, CT, Francis T. Maloney) (#6) lost against Mariah Bryant, 1-6, 1-6.
Corbin Leitch (Richmond, VA, Steward School) (#2 singles) had the Maroons only win after she defeated Sarah Budrus, 6-1, 6-2. She is currently 2-2 in the ODAC and has a 4-3 record on the season.

In doubles action, Dodson and Leitch lost to K. Montoya and P. Montoya, 7-9, White and Nagy fell to Budrus and Allstock, 1-8, and Wojtera and Hunter were defeated by Woodson and Bryant with a final match score of 3-8.

Roanoke will travel to Lynchburg College on Wednesday April 6th. The game is set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
