Dodson and Lietch earn Second-Team VaSID College Division All-State in Women's Tennis
Sophomores Laura Dodson (Roanoke, VA, Cave Spring) and Corbin Leitch (Richmond, VA, Steward School) garnered Second-Team Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) College Division All-State honors announced today. It's the second time in Dodson's career she has earned this accolade.

Dodson, who earned Second-Team All-ODAC honors last month, was the #1 seed in singles for the Maroons. She finished with an impressive 11-3 overall record, going 8-1 in conference-play. The sophomore ended the season 7-3 in her last 10 matches.

Leitch received Second-Team All-ODAC honors as the #2 seed in singles for Roanoke, en route to receiving her first VaSID All-State honor. The sophomore went 10-3 on the season, posting a 7-2 mark in ODAC-competition. She finished the season on a seven match win-streak.

The two teamed up to go 9-5, 7-2 in the conference in #1 doubles. The duo led the Maroons to a fourth place finish in the ODAC with an overall record of 7-3.

VaSID was formed in 1983, and is comprised of sports information professionals from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and independent institutions from the state of Virginia.
