Women's Tennis Falls to Chesnut Hill to Open Spring Break Trip
HILTON HEAD, S.C. --- Roanoke fell to Chesnut Hill, 6-3 to open their spring break trip in Hilton Head Sunday. The Maroons are now 2-1 on the season.

Chesnut Hill, a NCAA Div. II scholarship program, got all it could handle from Roanoke as no match was an east victory. Jenny Antoszyk won in #3 singles, 6-1, 6-4 and Lauren Marzal took the #6 slot, 8-1.

In #1 singles, junior Laura Dodson fell to Kelly Dennis, 6-3, 6-2 while Lucy Webb had the longest match of the day, going the distance in three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 8-10.

Webb and Brie Carroll earned a match victory in #3 singles, 8-4 while Dodson and Leitch fell in #1 doubles, 8-3.

The women will take on Mount Union tomorrow, March 5 at noon followed by a Tuesday contest vs. Alvernia at 6 p.m. to wrap-up the trip.
