Three Maroons Land on 2012 Women's Tennis All-ODAC Team
FOREST, Va. --- Washington and Lee University freshman Sonja Meighan took home a pair of individual honors as part of the 2012 All-ODAC Women's Tennis Teams. She secured the ODAC Player and Rookie of the Year awards following a stellar first season in Lexington. The Generals' head coach, Eric Ishida, was tabbed as the ODAC Coach of the Year, and Bridgewater College standout Katy Bergey was selected the ODAC/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete by the league's sports information directors. Sweet Briar College was honored with the Team Sportsmanship Award

Three Roanoke Women's Tennis players earned spots on the All-ODAC Second Team: Laura Dodson, Jennifer Antozyk, and Corbin Leitch.

Dodson played #1 singles for the Maroons and finished the season with a record of 13-5. She won seven of her last 10 singles matches and won the first five in a row of the season.

Leitch mostly played at the #2 spot on the team and also held a record of 13-5 in that position on the ladder. She was 13-6 overall on the season and won six of her last 10 matches.

Antozyk posted a record of 11-1 in the #3 singles position for Roanoke, and was 9-1 in her last ten matches at that position on the ladder. She also went 6-1 in ODAC play.

Dodson and Leitch were also named to Second Team All-ODAC honors in the #1 doubles position. The two to competed to a 14-4 overall record and an 8-2 record in ODAC play.
