FOREST - Roanoke College sophomore Jennifer Antoszyk has been named ODAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week, announced Monday. She is the first Roanoke women's tennis player to garner the honor since Laura Dodson won the award on April 12, 2010.

Antoszyk, a native of Charlotte, NC, ranks 22^nd in the ITA South Atlantic Regional poll. On Wednesday, the Maroons faced off against on #27 University of Mary Washington, where Antoszyk took on Lindsay Raulston, who ranks #19 in the nation. Despite falling in the effort, Antoszyk battled Raulston to a match score of 6-4; 7-6 (5).

On Sunday, the Maroons took on Randolph-Macon in the ODAC opener. Antoszyk defeated Angelina Spotelli in the #1 position by the score of 6-1; 6-1. She followed up that performance by teaming with Corbin Leitch and winning #1 doubles, 8-1 over the team of Spotelli and Courtney Owens.

The Maroons return to action on Saturday, March 9^th as they travel to Norfolk, VA to face Virginia Wesleyan in ODAC action. That contest is scheduled for a 2:00 PM start.
