Women's Tennis Ranked 19th in Final ITA Poll
SKILLMAN, NJ - In the final ITA Atlantic South Regional poll, the Roanoke College women's tennis team was ranked 19th. The Maroons were just one of two Old Dominion Athletic Conference teams in the Atlantic South Region rankings.

The Maroons set single season records in women's tennis at Roanoke in both overall wins (14) and ODAC victories (10). Roanoke also reached its first ODAC Championship game in school history, defeating Hollins 5-3 to reach the title game. The Maroons also posted a 10-0 record at the Elizabeth Campus Courts, the home facility for Roanoke Tennis.

Roanoke also had an impressive six individual players and three doubles pairs that were named to the 2013 All-ODAC Women's Tennis Teams. Jennifer Antoszyk (#1) and Corbin Leitch (#2) both earned first team honors for the Maroons. Laura Dodson (#3), Briell Smith (#4) and Kristen McDowell (#5) were named to the second team, as well as the doubles pairs of Antoszyk and Leitch (#1) and Dodson and Smith (#2). All-ODAC Third Team members included Kaitlyn Diskerud (#6), and the doubles team of Brianna Carroll and McDowell (#3).

In just his second season at the helm of the Maroons, Justin Fainter earned the ODAC Coach of the Year award. Over his two years he has led the Maroons to a 27-11 record, including a 17-4 mark in the ODAC. The Maroons were ranked throughout the season in the ITA Atlantic South Region.
