SKILLMAN, NJ - The Roanoke College women's tennis team is ranked 14th in the most recent Division III Women's Atlantic South Regional Rankings, announced Thursday.  The Maroons had been previously ranked #19 from the initial preseason poll.

The Maroons have had an outstanding start to its season.  Roanoke opened up the season with eight game undefeated streak, which was the greatest start to a season in program history.  It was also the best start for a debuting head coach in any sport in Roanoke history, with Daniel Ragsdale joining the coaching ranks this season.

Roanoke is 4-0 in conference in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action, defeating Virginia Wesleyan, Sweet Briar, Emory & Henry and Guilford.  Roanoke is also undefeated against NCAA Division III teams.  The Maroons' only loss on the year came on March 24th, as they fell to Division I opponent, Radford University.

The Maroons are back on the courts on April 4th as they host Randolph College at the Elizabeth Campus Courts.  That match is scheduled for a 3:00 PM start.
