Women's Tennis Win Tenth of Season, Defeat Randolph-Macon 6-3
ASHLAND – The Roanoke College women's tennis team remains undefeated in the ODAC after besting Randolph-Macon College, 6-3 on Saturday. The #14 regionally ranked Maroons are now 10-1 on the season, boasting a 6-0 start to Old Dominion Athletic Conference play.

The Maroons currently have 10 wins on the season, with five matches remaining on the calendar. Roanoke could tie or break the single season wins record (14) that was set in 2013. Roanoke also had 10 ODAC victories, another school record, last year, as the Maroons are 6-0 in ODAC play thus far.

Roanoke came out strong in doubles to start the day as Jennifer Antoszyk and Briell Smith were victorious over Angelina Sportelli and Toni McDonald at #1 doubles, 8-2. The team of Emily Henderson and Reed Kegel defeated Kelsie Grice and Olayemisi Ogunshina, 8-6 at #2 doubles.

In singles action, Antoszyk topped Sportelli 6-4, 6-4 at the #1 spot. Henderson was victorious at #3 singles over McDonald 6-1, 4-2. Kegel picked up a win at #4 over Ogunshina, besting the Yellow Jacket with a score of 6-2, 6-3. Finally Haley Goodes won at #6 singles over Molly Jesseman by the score of 6-2, 6-1.

The Maroons return to action on April 8th as they travel to take on Hollins University. That match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM.
