The Maroons followed up the success in 2013, having tied the all-time single season wins record of 14 wins, originally set in 2013 with a record of 14-4. They also tie the most ODAC wins in a season for a Maroon team, finishing 10-1 in the ODAC. Roanoke started out the season with an 8-0 record, which was the best start in school history for any first time coach in Daniel Ragsdale. Roanoke's first loss of the season came against NCAA Division I opponent Radford University. The Maroons went on to win five more in a row, staying undefeated against Division III competitors. Roanoke's only loss in the ODAC has come from #20 nationally ranked Washington and Lee University.
