ROANOKE – The Roanoke College women's tennis team defeated Lynchburg College on Tuesday evening.  Due to weather, the matches were moved from the neutral site of Hollins University to the clay courts of the Roanoke Country Club.  The Maroons now have a record of 13-5, 8-1 in ODAC play.

Roanoke swept Lynchburg in singles action, playing to a 5-0 decision on Tuesday.  Emily Henderson defeated Melissa Drinkard 6-1, 6-2 in the #1 singles position.  Reed Kegel blanked Catherine So 6-0, 6-0 in the #2 position.  Catherine Lee picked up the win at the #3 spot by toping Kelsey Dowling, 6-2, 6-0.  Haley Goodes and Kaitlyn Diskerud each won at #4 and #5 singles, respectively, both by the score of 6-1, 6-0.

The Maroons are wrapping up the ODAC season and will take on Randolph-Macon College at home on April 18^th.  That contest is scheduled for a 2:00 PM start.
