SALEM, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has announced its 2023 outdoor track & field awards, and nine members of the Roanoke College women's team earned all-conference recognition.

Mikayla Hefferon led the way with a First Team All-ODAC designation for winning the 400m at the ODAC outdoor meet, which was hosted by Bridgewater College on April 30-May 1.

Haylee Gamble collected Second Team all-conference honors for her runner-up finish in the 200m.

Seven Maroons received Third Team All-ODAC laurels: Grace Fowler (shot put), Kaitlyn Nguyen (high jump), Chloe Van Duyne (pole vault), and the 4x100 relay team of Lindsey Hobin, Taylor Poole, Hannah Snodgrass and Eleanor Hinckley.

Roanoke finished third overall at the ODAC meet, while Lynchburg claimed the team title.

Selections for the upcoming NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships will be revealed on Sunday.
