The Lead: Senior Kerri Dalton finished out her Roanoke Cross Country career with a 129th finish at the 2016 NCAA Championships Saturday morning.
How it Happened:
- Dalton set a personal and school record in the 6K race with a time of 22:09.0.
- With the record, Dalton now owns four of the fastest times ever recorded by a student-athlete at Roanoke.
- She averaged a 5:56.3 mile, hitting the halfway mark in just 10:54.3.
- Dalton became just the third Maroon to compete in the championships in program history.
- Amy Regan from Stevens Institute took home the individual title with a time of 20:16.4 while Johns Hopkins won the team title with 128 points.
