    Assistant Softball Coach

Chris Lauria joined the coaching staff at Roanoke College in 2014. Coach Lauria was a First Team All -State Catcher in 1984 in New Jersey and went on to continue his career as a four -year starter the University of North Carolina.He also competed in the Cape Cod Summer Baseball League and the Alaska Summer Baseball League.

He previously was an assistant coach at Toms River South from 1993 -1996. In 1994 that team went on to win the new Jersey State Baseball Championship and finish first in the state and eighth in the USA Today National Baseball poll.  

Since then Coach Lauria has coached at many different levels and provides private catching lessons. Chris is the catching coach at Roanoke and assists with recruiting.
