Roanoke’s top field hockey goalie for four straight years, Guy was selected Team I and Team II for the Blue Ridge Regional field hockey team in 1962, ’63 and ’64. She played goalie on the Blue Ridge first-team that played the Irish field hockey team during the International Conference.
In addition to field hockey, Guy played on the women’s basketball team for three years. She won the All-Sports Award while at Roanoke in 1965.
Served as President of the Women’s Athletic Association in 1964 and ’65 along as the sports writer for the Brackety-Ack.
After graduation, Guy spent years teaching and coaching young women in the Roanoke Valley.
