Gerald Dederick

During his athletic career, Dederick played four years of basketball and baseball and three years of tennis.  On basketball team with the "Five Smart Boys." 

In baseball, he was an outstanding pitcher, nicknamed "little iron man" for a no-hit game against the Naval Apprentice School.

Continued to win sports honors: 1974 Eastern Seniors Golf Association Championship, American Medical Association Championship three times, his country club championship a record seven times, and a finalist in the National Seniors Platform Tennis Championship.
