The first lacrosse player to bring national recognition to the college by being selected Roanoke’s first lacrosse All-American in 1972.  Also, the first player to participate in a postseason All-Star Game - the prestigious North-South game 


Lacrosse was Doxanas' forte, but he was also gifted in other sports.  He played freshman basketball and was selected as Intramural Athlete of the Year.  Roanoke lacrosse has come a long way and Doxanas will be remembered as a pioneer.
