A star goalie for the field hockey team for three years, Lundquist was twice selected to the prestigious Blue Ridge All-Star teams and three years played on the Southeast hockey team. She was co-captain of the 1957 hockey team as well as captain of the basketball team.
Equally active in intramural play, as Lundquist won the Intramural Trophy as a senior and took second place as a junior.
