William Mongiello

A member of the Monogram Club, Mongiello played football for four years, basketball for four years, and baseball for three years.

During his senior year at Roanoke College he was selected to the All-State football team and his teammates voted him the best all-around athlete.

After college, he signed with the Boston Red Sox and made the All-Bi-State League.  He was also selected to the All-Time teams of Erie, Uniontown, and New Castle, Pa. 

He remained active in baseball until 1964 as a player, manager and scout.  A life member in the National Association of Professional Baseball Players.
