Her point total is still the fifteenth best number in team history, while her rebounding total is the thirteenth best mark in program history. She graduated as the college’s all-time leader in blocks and is still in the top 10 in assists. The 1992 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Cogar is one of just eight Maroons to ever be named First Team All-Americans.

A two-time All-ODAC selection Cogar was a member of three Maroon squads that captured Old Dominion Athletic Conference championships. She had her best season as a senior, averaging 13.3 points and 7.1 rebounds a game and leading the team in assists (81), blocks (44), and steals (73). The Maroons advanced to the NCAA ‘Sweet Sixteen’ that season and Cogar went on to earn her First Team All-American accolades, that after being named the ODAC Player of the Year.
