Greensboro College took home first place with a (+37) overall, which was eleven strokes ahead of second place winner, Guilford College. Hampden-Sydney College rounded out the top three, finishing at +(49) overall. As for individual play, Nicholas Shedd from Guilford shot a first round 69, and a second round of 72, which earned him first place honors.
Roanoke's Alex Taylor finished tied for 11th, after shooting a two-day score of 150 (+10). Taylor finished the tournament with five birdies, and was one of only three players who carded an eagle. Jack Prater shot a 79 and an 81, which earned him a tie for 71st. After shooting an 84 and an 85, William Brown finished tied for 79th. Andrew Butts shot an 82 and an 88, which gave him a tie for 82nd. Cameron McLaughlin finished tied for 85th after posting an 85 the first day and an 86 the second day. As a team, The Maroon's outperformed three of their conference opponents in Shenandoah University (14th), Randolph-Macon College (15th), and Virginia Wesleyan (16th).
Roanoke returns to action February 28th, 2014, with the Callaway Garden Invitational held at Mountain View Golf Course.
