  • Maroons Wrap Up Season at ODAC Championship

    Roanoke would wrap up the 2022-23 golf season at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship. The three-day tournament was contested at 6,928 yards over the course at Forest Oaks Country Club. The Maroons were 6th after Day One and held that position throughout the event falling two shots short of a top-five finish. RC came into the event as the 69th ranked team in the country and ended up in the exact spot that they were in the national rankings. Guilford (#5) won the event at 868 with Lynchburg (#25) and Washington and Lee (#10) posting identical 873 totals.

    Day two of the 2023 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Golf Championship would see Roanoke stay in the sixth position after posting a 302, putting the Marrons at 601 overall, two shots behind Hampden-Sydney.
  • Roanoke Fires Opening Round 299
    April 23, 2023
    The 2023 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Golf Championship got started on Sunday with the first of three rounds. The event is being held at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, the longtime home of the PGA’s Greater Greensboro Open. RC fired an opening round 299 and find themselves in 6th place, just two strokes out of the top five.
  • Maroons 3rd in Williamsburg
    April 18, 2023
    The final regular season match for Roanoke College was a trip to Williamsburg to compete in the, 13-team, 88-golfer, Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial hosted by the Apprentice School. Roanoke would finish third with #2 ranked Christopher Newport winning the event. Going into the second day in fourth, Roanoke moved up one spot and made up 10 of the 11 stroke deficit to Hampden-Sydney for the runner-up spot.
  • Whelan Leads Maroons at Camp Lejeune

    For the 50th time, The Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune played host to the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate. The three-day event was held at the Paradise Point Golf Club and was contested over the par 72, 6,851-yard Gold Course layout. Roanoke, 70th, competed against nine of the top-50 teams in the nation in the 20-team field. Guilford college (4) defeated Oglethorpe (9) in a two-hole playoff to win the event with Christopher Newport (2) coming in third. The Maroons would finish the event in 13th place.
  • Maroons Compete at Jekyll Island Intercollegiate

    The Roanoke golf team traveled back to Georgia over the past five days to compete in the nation’s largest collegiate golf tournament. The Jekyll Island Collegiate, the most prestigious tournament in the region, featured 21 of the top 50 teams in the country and included 43 of the top 100 golfers in the country in the 150-golfer field. #1 ranked Emory won the event at 22-under par with #7 Carnegie Mellon (-7) second and #6 Christopher Newport (-2) rounding out the top three.
  • Cuny Finishes Atop Port City Invitational Field

    Roanoke College got the spring season started with a trip to Savannah to compete in the 16-team, Port City Invitational as part of the Savannah Invitational. The Maroons would finish 6th after posting a three-round total of 932, just missing a top five finish by one stroke. LaGrange would win the event with Hampden-Sydney finishing runner-up.
  • Roanoke Wraps Up Fall In Greensboro

    The Roanoke golf team competed in the 18-team, O'Briant-Jensen Memorial golf tournament. The 36-hole, two-day event was hosted by Guilford College and played on the par 71, 6755 layout at The Cardinal in Greensboro.
  • Maroons Win the 2022 VSGA Intercollegiate Championship

    The Roanoke College golf team traveled to Suffolk to compete in the 73rd annual Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) Intercollegiate. The 10 team tournament was held at the Sleepy Hole Golf Course and contested at par 72, over the 6,500 yard layout. The Maroons took and two-shot lead into the second day and finished the event with a 20-stroke win.
  • Roanoke Competes in Georgia

    The Roanoke golf team made the trip to Georgia to compete in the, 22-team, Royal Lakes Invitational. The two-day event was held at the Royal Lakes Country Club and contested over the par-72, 6717 yard layout. Roanoke fired an opening round 301 to put themselves in contention, 12th with 18-holes left to play.
  • Maroons 2nd at Stevenson

    The Roanoke golf team traveled to western Maryland to compete at the, one-day, 18-hole, Stevenson Fall Invitational at Piney Branch Country Club in Upperco.
  • Maroons 4th to Start 2022-23 Campaign

    After having last weekend's tournament in Winchester rained out, the Roanoke golf team traveled to Harrisonburg for the 2022 Kinder-Williams Invitational. The Maroons traveled two teams and each would finish in the top 10 of the 15 field event. Roanoke finished fourth while the 'B' team came home 10th after two days of play.
