The Lead: The Roanoke College golf team jumped up four spots from its opening round to finish sixth-place at the 2015 Ted Keller Memorial Tournament at Hanover Country Club.
 
How it Happened
  • The Maroons improved by six strokes from Monday's opening round to finish with a two-day total of 311-305—616 for sixth.
  • RC was the second best ODAC team in field, finishing behind host Randolph-Macon (297-303—600) and in front of Lynchburg, Bridgewater, Eastern Mennonite and Shenandoah.
  • Andrew Butts recorded a top-10 finish individually, carding a two-day 74-75—149 to place in a tie for ninth.
  • Kolton Cooper shaved three strokes of his opening round 77 to finish in tie for 14th with a 77-74—151.
  • Christopher Newport shot a 293-296—589 to win the tournament by one stroke over Franklin & Marshall.
