The Lead: The Roanoke College Golf team opened the Ted Keller Memorial by shooting an opening round 316 at Hanover Country Club in Ashland, Va.

How it Happened

• The Maroons fired a 316 on the par 70 course to sit just one stroke behind sixth-place Stevenson.
• Franklin & Marshall and Gettysburg currently lead the two-day tournament after both teams shot 299 on Monday.
• Individually for the Maroons, Evan Shuck shot a 78 to lead RC, while Nick Peters and Evan Diebus both carded 79 for the day.
• Daniel Harcourt of Gettysburg leads the 68 player field after firing a one under 69.
