The Lead: Roanoke opened up play at the annual O'Briant-Jensen Tournament that features eight of the top-32 teams in Division III at Sedgefield CC in Greensboro, N.C.

How it Happened

• Roanoke shot 329 through periods of heavy rain and wind on Sedgefield's Dye Course Monday.
• RC's Brad Williams shot an 81, while Evan Diebus and Andrew Edwards each shot 82.
• No. 6 Methodist leads the 20 team field with a six over 290 which is two shots better than No. 2 Huntingdon and four six shots better than No. 17 and host Guilford.
• Mark Connelly of Huntingdon is atop the individual leaderboard with a three under 68.
