Carey Brewbaker

At Roanoke, Brewbaker won varsity letters in both football and baseball.  A member of the Monogram Club, he excelled at tackle and captained the 1936 squad.  He was arguably one of the best outfielders in Roanoke College baseball history.   

After college, he coached at Durham High winning three state championships in football.  He coached and played with the Pasco Navy Flyers.

Has been an assistant coach for the San Diego Bluejackets and for University of Notre Dame.  In 1954, he became assistant coach at NC State and won the highest praise for his work as line coach and recruiter.
