Clary Named GCAA All-American Scholar
August 16, 2021The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced their 2021 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars. Roanoke College sophomore Will Clary was one of 135 DIII golfers to earn the honor. -
2020-21 Roanoke College Athletic Department Awards
June 14, 2021The Roanoke College Athletic Department announced their 2020-21 award winners on Monday afternoon. The announcement of the four awards comes after an unprecedented season that would see all sports competing, in condensed schedules, over a three and a half month period due to the pandemic.

Maroons Finish Eighth At ODAC Championships
April 26, 2021The Roanoke College golf team faced six of the top 45 teams in the country when they competed at the 2021 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships. The two-day event was played on the Champions course at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, N.C.

Golfers Compete At HSC Invitational
April 18, 2021The Roanoke College golf team traveled to Farmville to compete in the Hampden-Sydney Invitational over the weekend. The two-day event was played at the Manor Golf Course at par 72 over 6,643 yards.

Donnelly Wins 2021 Bridgewater Spring Shootout
April 05, 2021The Roanoke College golf team competed in the Bridgewater Shootout on Monday. The event was an individual only tournament featuring 20 golfers from three different schools, Bridgewater, Roanoke, and Southern Virginia. The one-day event was held at the Lakeview Golf Club and played at par 72.

Roanoke Sixth In Winchester
March 29, 2021The Roanoke College golf team traveled to Winchester to play in the 2021 Shenandoah Spring Invitational. The one day, 36-hole event was played at the Winchester Country Club to par 71. After the first round the Maroons would find themselves third in a group of seven teams separated by just eight strokes. As the weather improved so did the RC scores. Roanoke would improve by 14 strokes to finish sixth in the 12 team field.

Roanoke Shoots 308 In Buena Vista
March 25, 2021Roanoke battled the wind and rain as well as Southern Virginia in a dual match on Thursday afternoon. The Maroons came into the match with the Knights, ranked 14th in the Region in the most recent GolfStat rankings. RC would post a 308 in the 18-hole event.

Weather Cuts Short JWU Spring Invitational
March 15, 2021The Roanoke College golf team traveled to Matthews, North Carolina for the Johnson & Wales Spring Invitational. The two-day event was shortened to one day after rain washed out the second round on Tuesday.

Three Maroons Finish Top 20
March 09, 2021Roanoke College traveled to Lynchburg for the 2021 Hill City Invitational. The Maroons posted a day one total of 312 and followed it up with 315 for a total of 627.

Poff Earns ODAC Golfer of the Week

Maroons Second at Spring Invite
February 24, 2021Roanoke College hosted the four school, six team, Roanoke Spring Invitational on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. The Maroons rallied after a tough front nine to finish second in the team event while sophomore Daniel Poff finished third individually.

ODAC Releases Plan For Spring Competition
November 17, 2020The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their plan for the return to competition for the Spring of 2021. Tuesday afternoon the league office announced that conference play is slotted to begin January 23rd.
